Datatako acts only as a secure conduit to Power BI Embedded. We hold just the metadata needed to map viewers to reports—no datasets, visuals or source data ever leave your Microsoft tenant, dramatically shrinking the attack surface.

Encryption everywhere

All sensitive metadata, tokens and user details are encrypted on disk with strong, regularly-rotated keys. Every connection between browsers, Datatako and Microsoft's cloud is forced over modern TLS, preventing eavesdropping or tampering.

Enterprise-grade controls & compliance

Users authenticate with Azure AD and must pass multi-factor checks; granular roles and Power BI Row-Level Security restrict each viewer to approved data.
