Which payment methods are supported?
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and SEPA direct debit. If you prefer to pay by invoice, this is available on request — just reach out to our sales team to arrange it.
Is there a lock-in period or long-term contract?
No, there is no lock-in period. DataTako runs on a flexible monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your access remains active until the end of the current billing period — no surprise charges, no strings attached.
How does the free trial work?
Simply sign up for a free account. Your 30-day trial only starts when you connect your Power BI environment, so you have plenty of time to look around and set things up before the clock starts ticking. During the trial you get full access to all features.
Do I need to enter payment details to start my trial?
No! You can sign up and start exploring DataTako without entering any payment information. We only ask for payment details when your trial ends and you decide to subscribe.
How are payments processed and secured?
All payments are processed through Stripe, the world's leading payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your credit card details or bank information on our servers — everything is handled securely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
What Power BI capacity do I need to run DataTako?
DataTako requires a Microsoft Fabric capacity (F2 or higher) or a Power BI Embedded capacity to enable seamless embedding and distribution of your reports and dashboards. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely. Contact support to change your plan. Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle, so you always get the full value of your current period.
Where is my data stored and is it secure?
DataTako connects directly to your own Power BI environment — your data never leaves your tenant. We don't store, copy, or process your business data. All communication is encrypted and secured via Microsoft authentication protocols including Azure Entra, MFA, and SSO.
